Sad, disappointed and angry
I look at the world surrounding me

God don’t you listen, can’t you see
So many people are living in anguish,
hatred, hunger and pain

God, are we crying and praying in vain?

God, do you hear what saying or not

Hear when I cry like a bird in the sky
Looking somewhere to land
Seeking a site where the going’s gone right
And where justice and peace are at hand

Sad, disappointed and angry
But ready to share some bread and wine

Maybe the truth is here to find
Holy communion with people in anguish,
Hatred, hunger and pain
Sad, disappointed and angry
Sharing together again and again
