Stunden just nu

A teenage camp in the Rocky Mountains, USA: adventure, contests, games, singing and music. Every evening ended with a time of prayer and reflection.

Ingemar gave an evening concert at the camp and got the idea for a song for that quiet hour: A Moment And A Time. The writer Jeff Jones helped with the words. Back then it was only a chorus. The Swedish lyric, the verses and the bridge were written several years later, in Almuñécar, Spain.

A melody this self-evident really ought to have been composed already. As for the bridge of Stunden just nu, it is clearly inspired by Mozart’s Nocturne. He would probably also have liked Lennart Jonsson’s soprano sax.

Stina Jadelius happened to drop by the studio at exactly the right moment, which led to a duet with Ingemar in the first chorus.
