What am I to think, what am I to do
How can I determine what is really true
One is saying this, the other saying that
Everybody thinking he is where it’s at
I was disappointed on the left side
Disappointed on the right side
But then I found what I missed
Now I’m a Jesusextremist

I opened up my ears, opened up my eyes
Searching for the truth in a world of lies
Everything he did, everything he said
Never backing off in fear of where it led
So where he leads I follow
I’m done with all that’s hollow
I want to be an optimist
I mean a Jesusextremist

Let us all confess the world is in a mess
That is but a fact that we must address
Nothing is too big, no one is too small
Love is all that matters when you heed the call
That’s all I need to know now
To go against the flow now
I want to be an activist
I mean a Jesusextremist
