I have sinned and this is my confession
Everything is known to you
Wrongs that are mine
Time after time
And I beg you forgive me do

Didn’t do to others what I wish that I had done
Many times I’ve lived in a cocoon
In a private little world around myself that I have spun
Chances to do good that I have blown
Wondering why I’m feeling so alone

I have sinned …

All too many times I know I really missed the goal
Didn’t let my conscience take the lead
I let chips and Coca Cola fill the vacuum in my soul
Never heard the cries of those in need
And never understood where this would lead
